| Dear lord, when you hear others complain about the absolute PITA it is to remove the subframe and differential carrier bushings they are not kidding. In fact they understimate it. I think there is a chance that the Nissan engineers who designed them the way they did either overengineered the install of the OEM ones to the nth degree squared Xeleventybillion or they secretly worked for terrorist bent on making the owners who change them out lives miserable. In summation though the primary goal was attained, getting rid of the annoying clunk when putting into gear, etc. Ride seems a bit better and definitely crisper on the handling. Was extremely lucky to have a few local Z folks drop by Saturday and Sunday (thanks out to Phil, Eric and his dad, Darrell - Saturday and Aaron on Sunday). Got everything removed, ES urethane installed on Saturday then Sunday got up early and reinstalled the subframe all by myself (not fun) and then Aaron showed up and we stabbed the diff back in. One last thing, my thanks to all who posted FAQ's, they proved invaluable! I am also in awe as to how you kept your composure enough to take pics, document, etc.! On to the pics... order is backwards as compared to actual work, deal with it. A hint as well.. Go buy some muratic acid or other suitable stuff to clean the garage floor afterwards. Tried to keep it clean to no avail. Two gallons of muratic acid (mixed in a bucket with water 4-to-1) did the trick.. What a mess!
Had time so figured I would go ahead and clean up and paint the subframe gloss black
Now were smoking! The pic does not do justice to the volume of smoke the rubber meeting high speed drill with hole saw created

 BLECH that subframe was filthy!

GREAT timing on this photo, it caught the silicon squirting out just as I hit the hammer to the screw driver. Gross! See the brownish stuff? That is the liquid silicone, turned that color I guess due to having used fire on it earlier. It was caught in the photo just as it squirted.

 Marshmallows anyone?

No! Hit it over there.. Larry, Moe and Curly.. Though not sure which is which. :) Actually that is Eric (with the hat on), Darrell and Eric's dad showing the diff carrier bushings who the boss is!
DO NOT ATTEMPT without a sawsall!

To all of you who came over, THANK YOU!
